Mounties in Prince Albert have asked the public to be on the lookout for a group of four people who are suspected of stealing two vehicles at gunpoint on Thursday.
According to the RCMP, the first robbery happened while two people who were driving on Garden River Road near Highway 55, northeast of Prince Albert.

“They approached a vehicle that looked like they were in need of assistance. When they stopped, a male threatened the individuals with a firearm and stole their vehicle,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“No physical injuries were reported by the two individuals.”
About an hour later, the Prince Albert Police Service got a report of a similar robbery in Little Red River Park.
“Their investigation determined two individuals were threatened with a firearm and assaulted, then their vehicle was stolen,” the Mounties said.
“One of the suspect vehicles then struck a vehicle within the City of Prince Albert and fled. No injuries were reported by the occupants of the struck vehicle.”
Police said the two robberies may be connected. The suspects were described as three men and a woman. One of the men was heavily tattooed and was wearing a red shirt, while another man was wearing a dark hoodie.
“They may be driving a red 2005 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck with Saskatchewan license plate 529 ISI or a black 2013 Kia Sportage with Saskatchewan license plate 803 MKY,” the RCMP said.
“If you see these vehicles or suspects, do not approach them. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Be cautious approaching any unknown or suspicious persons.”
Anyone who spots the suspected carjackers was asked to immediately contact the Prince Albert RCMP detachment. Anonymous reports can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
