Police in Saskatoon are investigating a shooting that left a 33-year-old man dead
According to police, officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in an alley behind the 2700 block of 21st Street West at around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The victim was taken to hospital, police said, but later died. It’s the city’s 11th murder of the year.
Police didn’t name the victim, but said his family has been notified of the death.
The death is under investigation as a homicide, police said, and anyone with information that could help with the case was urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
