'Start of something special': Riders use garbage bag day to reflect on 2024

The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
The Fall 2022 Hospital Home Lottery kicked off this week in Saskatoon, in support of the Royal University, St. Paul’s and Saskatoon City Hospital Foundations.
This fall’s grand prize is a $1.6-million home in Edgemont Park Estates. The single-floor home features an outdoor pool, pool house, high-end kitchen, marble fireplace and a bonus of $50,000 in cash.
The fall edition also features the lottery’s most valuable early bird prize package ever: A cottage at Candle Lake, $10,000 in cash, and two memberships to the Candle Lake Golf Resort.
Other prizes up for grabs include a 24-day luxury vacation for two in Bali, a week-long stay in Costa Rica, and more.
The grand prize showhome and cottage are both open to the public for viewing.
Tickets are $100 each, and the draw for the grand prize will take place Nov. 15.
