One Saskatoon man has been arrested after allegedly attacking two people with a knife.
At about 7:45 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a home on the 100 block of Carlton Dr., southeast of the University of Saskatchewan.
They found a 42-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man who were seriously hurt.
The victims described the alleged attacker to police, who were then able to track down a 21-year-old man not far from the home.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Both victims were taken to hospital.
There was a separate incident of violent crime in the city, just hours before.
At about 5:45 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a home on the 200 block of Ave. S North.
There, they found a 35-year-old woman who had been stabbed. The victim was seriously hurt and taken to hospital, but officers don’t believe her life is in danger.
The suspect, another woman, ran away after the attack. Officers don’t have a reliable description yet.
