The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment has completed its investigation into two deer carcasses found along the Meewasin Trail Tuesday morning south of Diefenbaker Park.
A Facebook page called the Saskatoon Trail Alliance suggested the deer may have fallen victim to a cougar.

Investigating officers believe the animals broke their necks when they hit a nearby fence.
Tooth mark evidence suggests scavenging by animals from dogs to bears may have occurred as well.
