WINNIPEG — RCMP say two passengers face charges after a plane travelling to Los Cabos, Mexico, from London was diverted to Winnipeg.
Mounties say they received a report on Thursday morning about an unruly passenger on the flight and arrested a 25-year-old man from the United Kingdom.
Shortly after the arrest, officers were called back to the plane about another passenger.
RCMP say a 34-year-old woman from the United Kingdom, unconnected to the man arrested earlier, was also taken into custody.
Both were charged with causing a disturbance.
The man also faces charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
