Charges have been laid in a fatal crash that happened more than a year ago near Grandora, Sask.
Bradley Townsend, 27, from Edgerton, Alta. is accused of being under the influence of drugs when his Pontiac Sunfire collided with another car on Highway 14.
The driver of the second vehicle, 47-year-old Kristy Lukaszuk from Asquith, was killed.
Victoria Morris, 22, from Lashburn, Sask. was in the car with the accused and was seriously hurt.
The Crown decided to lay charges after a lengthy investigation that called on the help of an RCMP collision analyst.
Townsend was arrested in Hinton, Alta. on March 25, 2016.
He faces several impaired driving charges for his alleged involvement.
Townsend will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Thursday.
