Two people are facing assault charges after allegedly attacking a man at a shopping mall in downtown Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were called to Midtown mall on First Avenue South at around 11 a.m. on Friday after getting a report about the alleged attack. When they arrived, the officers found the 31-year-old victim suffering from “non-life-threatening injuries.”

“The investigation showed that the victim was sitting on the ground when three individuals approached him, each striking him before walking away,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“He was transported to hospital by paramedics.”
Police said the suspects boarded a Saskatoon Transit bus after the alleged attack, and officers stopped the bus at 22nd Street West and Avenue D.
“Two of the three suspects were arrested off the bus; the third suspect was not located,” the police service said.
“One suspect was found to be wanted.”
The two men who were arrested, ages 29 and 32, are each facing an assault charge.
