An early morning fire at a home in Saskatoon’s Mount Royal neighbourhood Tuesday morning has sent one person to hospital.
The Saskatoon Fire Department said the fire broke out just after 11 a.m. on the 200 block of Vancouver Avenue North.
Crews were able to put the fire out and search the home but they didn’t find anybody inside.
The fire department didn’t have an update on the extent of the injuries of the person who was taken to hospital but did confirm it wasn’t one of its firefighters.
The investigation into what started the blaze is continuing.
