The body of a man reported missing in Yorkton on Sept. 25 was found on Friday in a rural area near Highway 16 west of Yorkton.
Yorkton RCMP said in a news release on Friday that the family of 71-year-old Alec Zwozdesky had been notified and officers were continuing to investigate the circumstances of his death with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
Police had earlier said that Zwozdesky needed medication that he did not have with him when he went missing.
Yorkton is the sixth largest city in Saskatchewan, located about 300 kms southeast of Saskatoon.
