Police in Saskatoon are asking for the public’s help as officers work to track down a 24-year-old man wanted in connection with a pair of stabbings in the city’s Pleasant Hill neighboudhood
The first incident saw police called to the 100 block of Avenue T South, on Wednesday for a report of an injured person.

There, police found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and police noted that the stab wound was not believed to be life-threatening.
Police said the suspect took off before officers arrived.
The second stabbing, on Monday, saw officers called to the 100 block of Avenue U South.
A woman suffering a stab wound was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to a local hospital for additional care. Her injuries were also not considered life-threatening, the police service noted.
Police said an arrest warrant has been issued for 24-year-old Dakota Douglas Halkett, who is a suspect in both stabbings. He’s been charged with aggravated assault, assault, and breaching court-ordered conditions.
Halkett was described as five-foot-10 in height, weighing around 130 pounds, with short, dark hair. Police said he had a blue BMX bike with him.
Anyone with information that could help officers locate Halkett was urged to contact the Saskatoon Police Service or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
