A 24-year-old man from La Ronge is accused of impaired driving after a fatal rollover in Bell’s Point on Saturday morning.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover on Lagoon Road in Bell’s Point, just south of La Ronge, at around 6:45 a.m.

A passenger in the vehicle – a 20-year-old man from La Ronge – was declared dead at the scene. Police said his family has been notified of his death.
Police said the driver and another passenger were taken to hospital with injuries after the crash.
According to the RCMP, the investigation into the crash led to the arrest of the 24-year-old man who was allegedly behind the wheel.
He’s been charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing death, and dangerous driving causing bodily harm. He made his first court appearance on Monday, police said.
