A woman was sent to hospital after she was assaulted with a piece of a firearm on Monday, police say.
Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release that officers were called around 5:50 p.m. on July 29 to the 600 block of Spadina Crescent East after receiving a report of a fight involving a weapon.
The suspect left before police arrival, police said, but a woman was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. She had been assaulted by a man with a piece of a firearm, which they found at the scene, police added.
The suspect is described as man aged around 40 to 50 years old around 6-foot tall with long brown or dark gray hair. H was wearing a white or gray shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
