An early morning crash on Circle Drive slowed down morning commuters in Saskatoon on Friday.
According to police, two vehicles crashed at around 2:15 a.m. on July 12. As a result, restrictions are in place for northbound traffic on Circle Drive at the Attridge Drive overpass.
A Dodge Journey SUV collided with the rear of a Kenworth gravel truck, leaving a 38-year-old male driver of the SUV with non-life-threatening injuries according to police. The other driver was not physically injured.

“Collision Analysts are conducting an investigation and motorists are being asked to avoid the area,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement. “All northbound traffic will be diverted off of Circle Drive onto Attridge Drive.”
There was no word on any injuries resulting from the crash, but police said an update will be shared once the traffic restrictions are removed.
