Two people are dead after a two-car crash on Highway 2 north of Moose Jaw on Friday.
Police only provided details about the crash on Monday.
In a release, the RCMP said officers from the Moose Jaw detachment responded at around 6:15 a.m. to a call about the crash, which happened 30 kilometres north of Moose Jaw near Sandy Point.

The Mounties said the driver and sole occupant of one car – a 56-year-old man from Fort McMurray, Alta. – was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Also killed was a 52-year-old woman from India, who was a passenger in the other car.
The driver and two passengers of that second car were taken to hospital with injuries that the RCMP said were non-life-threatening.
The highway was closed for much of the day Friday, but reopened late in the afternoon.
The Moose Jaw RCMP is investigating the crash with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
