Six new cameras have been added to the Highway Hotline’s network this month.
Drivers now can get a look at the Trans-Canada Highway at the Tower Road interchange in Regina, the Trans-Canada at Wapella, Highway 4 at Saskatchewan Landing, Highway 9 at Round Lake, the Highway 46 overpass over the Trans-Canada at Balgonie, and the Uranium City airport.
There now are 47 cameras in the Highway Hotline network in the province.
The provincial government said there were 13 million visits to the Highway Hotline last year as drivers sought information on highway conditions, road closures, construction zones, ferries and border crossings.
The government said the hotline’s maps and information are updated at least three times per day or as conditions require.
Updates can be found on the Highway Hotline website, on the Highway Hotline app, by calling 511, or on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
