The body of a man who fell off his boat while fishing on Dore Lake has been recovered.
According to the Hutterian Emergency Aquatic Response Team (HEART) — a Manitoba-based group helping with the search — the body of 28-year-old Austin Bomok was found more than 17 kilometres from where he was last seen on July 16.
Bomok, a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, was spending time with his family when he fell off the boat and into the water.
His body was recovered Saturday by the RCMP and HEART.
A GoFundMe has been set up for his family.
Dore Lake is about 240 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
