A 20-year-old man is facing several charges following a Sunday afternoon arrest.
Saskatoon police say they were investigating a stabbing when officers spotted two men who fit suspect descriptions. The men fled from officers on foot near 21st Street and Avenue P South.
A few minutes later, officers located the 20-year-old man who had “several pieces” of identification belonging to other people and bear spray.
He now faces eight charges of possession of identity documents relating to another person, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of a court order.
Saskatoon police could not confirm if the 20-year-old man was linked to the stabbing, as it is still under investigation.
The stabbing involved a 25-year-old male victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries at around 2 p.m. Sunday.
