Saskatoon police are using a spate of crashes today to remind drivers to slow down and be cautions.
In an emailed news release from 1:50 p.m. Monday, the police service reports that its members have filed reports on 17 collisions today.
That’s since 6 a.m.
“(We) are urging drivers to reduce speeds and beware of slippery roads and intersections,” the release said.
Among the crashes is one between a city bus and another vehicle, which happened at about 1 p.m.
Police say the driver of the bus is being treated for non life-threatening injuries; there were no reports on the driver of the other vehicle.
