A 22-year-old man is in hospital for an apparent gunshot wound.
Regina police are saying the incident occurred just after six a.m. on Oct. 3 when police were contacted by an unknown woman caller who was saying someone had been shot at a residence on the 900 block of Argyle Street.
Police went to the house and found a 22-year-old man inside with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.
EMS transported the man to hospital.
The injured man was not able to give much information to police at the time.
Police said that at this point in the investigation, officers do not believe there is an elevated risk to the public.
Officers searched the house and immediate area and did not recover any firearms.
Police have been speaking with other residents of the area to see if they witnessed or heard anything unusual.
The incident is still under investigation.
