Fight fans are just one sleep away from the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) Saskatchewan debut.
As Sunday’s UFC Fight Night Saskatoon at SaskTel Centre inches closer, the UFC is giving fans a chance to meet and interact with some of the organization’s stars.
On Saturday, the action continues with a second day of the UFC Experience at SaskTel Centre. The festivities kick off at noon until 6 p.m. Fans will have the chance to meet current UFC stars, including top ranked welterweight Tyron Woodley, Jordan Mein from Lethbridge, Alta., Elias Theodorou and octagon girl Chrissy Blair.
All fighters will have about an hour to meet with fans, sign autographs and take pictures ahead of a questions and answers session with Woodley and Mein.
The UFC is holding the official weigh-ins Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. at SaskTel Centre. The weigh-ins are free and open to the public and are the last chance to see the fighters face-to-face before they meet in the center of the octagon on Sunday.
The UFC fan experience continues Sunday leading up to UFC Fight Night Saskatoon. The preliminary rounds begin at 4 p.m. with the main fight card scheduled for 7 p.m. UFC Fight Night Saskatoon will be broadcast live on TSN and Fox Sports 1.
Tickets are still available for the UFC online at Ticketmaster.
