The Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre is encouraging the public to get involved in its City-Wide Food Drive, a month-long fundraiser held during May.
The campaign theme, “Don’t Let Your Neighbour Fall Through the Cracks”, alerts the public to the hardships which community members are facing and invites Saskatoon citizens to contribute to a more food-secure community.
The public is encouraged to rally together and champion the cause through food, cash and online donations during May.
The SFBLC’s most wanted food items include baby food and formula, canned fruits and vegetables, hearty soups and stews, whole grain pasta and cereals, canned protein, and peanut butter.
