A 46-year-old man is dead after he drowned in Lake Diefenbaker while scuba diving.
Outlook RCMP said in a release the diver was found dead on Sunday after the people he was diving with reported him missing.
His body was found a short time after emergency crews arrived, and efforts to revive him failed.
The man was participating in a recreational dive about 200 yards from the shore on the west side of the lake near the Danielson Provincial Park boat launch.
RCMP said the death isn’t considered suspicious, and alcohol and drugs weren’t a factor.
An investigation is continuing with assistance from the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
