Saskatoon firefighters helped free two people trapped in a flipped SUV Friday night.
Just before midnight, an SUV crashed and ended up on its side at Idylwyld Drive and 25th Street East.
According to the fire department, two of the seven people inside at the time were still trapped.
Some of them managed to get out of the SUV through the rear hatch before crews arrived.
The first person freed was also helped out via the rear hatch.
Fire officials said cutting tools were used to get the second person free from the front passenger area. The entire extrication process took about 20 minutes.
Four people inside the SUV were taken to hospital and have minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
