The final weekend of training camp is set for Nov. 22-24 back in Saskatoon.
It’s arguably the best cinematic experience money can buy.
Now, IMAX is coming to Saskatoon.
The Scotiabank Theatre Saskatoon and VIP will become the 25th Cineplex location in the country to house the experience for movie lovers.
Cineplex anticipates the IMAX theatre to open in May.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the IMAX experience to the Saskatoon community as we continue to provide our guests with a variety of enhanced movie-watching options,” Cineplex president and CEO Ellis Jacob said.
“IMAX and Cineplex and share a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.”
IMAX theatres differ from most experiences at a cinema. It features wall-to-wall screens, enhanced digital surround sound and a higher quality projection screen than the existing AVX theatre.
An existing screen at the 2nd Avenue location will be replaced to allow for the quick conversion.
