Gunshots were heard in North Battleford Saturday night after a driver rammed into an RCMP cruiser.
RCMP is expected to give a media briefing Sunday at 11 a.m. in Regina on a serious incident, but have not specified if it is related.
The incident in North Battleford happened around 10:30 p.m. at the corner of 15 Ave. and 105th St.
According to eye witnesses, a white sedan rammed into the police vehicle then they could hear yelling between the driver and RCMP.
Witnesses heard police yell the driver was reaching for something and that is when at least three shots were fired.
Amateur video of the incident was provided to battlefordsNOW by witnesses who asked not to be identified.

Witnesses added the police preformed CPR on the victim before being loaded into an ambulance minutes after the shooting.
The current status of the victim is unknown as RCMP on scene wouldn’t comment as the investigation is ongoing.
