Police in Saskatoon are asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that left a 47-year-old woman badly injured last week.
According to police, officers were called to the intersection of 22nd Street West and Avenue Y South at around 9:30 p.m. on April 21.

“The 47 year old woman was found to be the victim of a hit and run and was transported to hospital,” the police force said in a statement.
As of Friday, police said the woman was still in hospital with “life-threatening injuries.”
Police asked the public to keep an eye out for a silver, four-door sedan officers believe was involved in the collision while heading east on 22nd Street West.
“Investigators believe the vehicle will have significant damage to the front end, including; bumper, hood, and windshield,” police said.
“Anyone with information or video evidence believed to be relevant to the investigation is asked to contact police directly by calling 306-975-8300 or reporting it anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.”
