Saskatoon Police Crime Reduction Team have charged five people with drug- and weapons-related offences.
On March 14, after a traffic stop, a man and woman were taken into custody in the 10 block of Sturby Place. Officers found cash, cocaine, fentanyl, GHB, and methamphetamine.

A replica airsoft pistol and fentanyl were located during the arrest of another woman in the 1000 block of 23rd Street West
Inside a mall in the 3300 block of 8th Street East police found cash, cocaine, and a gold bar while arresting a man.
Police then executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of 23rd Street West according to the news release.
As a result, investigators seized a total of:
- 58.8 grams fentanyl (blue/green)
- 297.5 grams of cocaine powder
- 18.6 grams methamphetamine
- $8,515 cash
- Gold bar valued at $4,490
- 475 ml GHB
- Loaded, sawed off 12-gauge shotgun
- Three air-soft pistols
- Illegal cigarettes
- Various rounds of loose ammunition
Police also found:
- bear spray,
- crossbow/arrows,
- compound bow/arrows,
- batons,
- knives,
- a conducted energy weapon
- and other indicia consistent with drug trafficking.
The two women, ages 24 and 27, and the three men, ages 35, 37, and 41, face a total of 26 charges.
