Three people are facing charges in connection with pair of break-ins at post offices in two small Saskatchewan communities.
According to the RCMP, the first break-in happened at the post office in Codette on February 18. At around 5 a.m., people broke in by damaging the door, the RCMP said, and made off with more than 20 packages.

Later that same morning, police got a report of a similar break-in at the post office in Love, which is well known for its Teddy bear postmark. In that case, the RCMP said the burglars stole a safe, along with packages and other mail.
Police said a 31-year-old woman woman from Nipawin was arrested in connection with the break-ins on February 23. Then, on Sunday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Cumberland House, leading to the arrest of a 36-year-old man.
According to the RCMP, both of them are charged with two counts of break-and-enter, two counts of mail theft, one count of theft over $5,000, two counts of theft under $5,000, and two counts of mischief under $5,000. Both made their first court appearances earlier this week in Melfort.
A third person, 24-year-old Reginald Nawakays, a resident of Nipawin, is also wanted by the RCMP in connection with the break-ins. He’s facing the same list of charges, along with one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
“Reginald Nawakayas is described as approximately 5’11” tall and 250 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“If you see Reginald Nawakayas, do not approach him. Report all sightings and information about his whereabouts to Nipawin RCMP at 310-RCMP.”
