In 2025, the fundraiser is being held at Saskatoon’s Prairieland Park on March 1 and 2.
Last year’s show raised over $6.1 million.
Saskatchewan singer Brad Johner is a host at TeleMiracle and he joined Mark Loshack on the CKOM Morning Show this week.
Listen to Brad Johner on CKOM Morning Show:
Johner said his ties with TeleMiracle go all the way back to the fourth event.
“My dad and my brothers, we were part of the Saskatchewan talent back then,” he said. “I look back and go ‘my gosh I thought it was on forever and it’s only been four years’, and now it’s year 49.”
Johner said there will also be a bunch of returning talent for TeleMiracle 49.
“Beverley Mahood will be back again this year … we have Alex Brown, she was on a couple years ago,” Johner explained. “Chris Henderson is back this year.”

The Johner Brothers most recent song “Bring Back the Mullet” will be performed at the show, with some added props.
“We wanted to get those mullet caps,” he said. “The hair was about 14 inches long and my brother said ‘that hair is too long… that’s crazy we should cut it,’ and then we got looking at some of our old music videos and I think our hair was longer than that.”
Listen to Jeffery Straker on The Greg Morgan Morning Show:
Singer Jeffery Straker is also a TeleMiracle host and joined The Greg Morgan Morning Show on Friday.
He said it’s always emotional to meet the families that directly benefit from the fundraiser.
“You can hear it in their voice how grateful they are,” Straker said. “When we’re asking people to ‘ring those phones’ we know exactly what that means because we’ve just spoken with people who have benefitted from those phones ringing.”
Straker said there’s no secret formula to staying awake during the telethon.
“The drug that keeps me awake is the adrenaline,” he said. “When you get going on that show … the heart’s thumping and the adrenaline going through the veins keeps me up.”
Doors at at Prairieland Park open at 8:30 pm on Saturday and 7:30 pm on Sunday.
