House shot at in Meadowgreen
An empty house in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood of Saskatoon was shot at on Sunday, SPS said.
In a news release on Monday, SPS said officers went to the house in the 200 block of Winnipeg Avenue South around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 after receiving a call about a possible gunshot, with the caller saying they saw two people running away from the area as well.
Police said they found damage to a front window of the vacant house that appeared to be caused by a bullet, that a second window appeared to be recently broken, and a security camera on the home’s exterior had also been disconnected.
Police added that no description of the suspects was available and their investigation is ongoing.
