Charges have been stayed for two of the three people accused of the shooting death of a Regina man.
Court proceedings will be stayed for a 24-year-old and a 17-year-old who can’t be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The two were initially charged in the death of 22-year-old Everett Wolfe Roberts-Orr, who was found injured in the Regent Park neighbourhood last May.
Officers found Roberts-Orr in the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive. He was then taken to Regina General Hospital where he died.
Though a stay of proceedings halts prosecution, the Crown can bring the matter back to court within a year of the decision to stay.
While Dustyhorn and the teen’s matters were stayed, 22-year-old Reshaun Norman Cote still faces charges for the death.
Shortly after the arrest of the other two in May 2024, a nationwide warrant was issued for Cote’s arrest.
In December, Cote was added to the Bolo program’s top 25 Most Wanted List. The Bolo Program is a project of the Stéphan Crétier Foundation which tracks wanted criminals across Canada in collaboration with police.
Cote was arrested in early January and his next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 23.
980 CJME reached out to Crown Prosecutor Leona Andrews about the stayed charges but she declined to comment.
