The City of Saskatoon is asking residents to move their vehicles off the street if possible as graders begin clearing snow and ice from residential roads.
“The City of Saskatoon has called in all available graders for tonight and the next few days to blitz local residential streets,” the city said in a statement.
I’m out doing #RoadReports this morning for @CKOMNews!

The city’s streets were left slick and slippery after a winter storm brought snow and freezing rain to the area over the weekend.
The city said road conditions could be dangerous despite the sanding and salting efforts, and said drivers should keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and give road equipment room to operate.
Meanwhile, travel was not recommended on a number of highways around Saskatchewan on Monday morning, particularly in the southwest portion of the province. The latest information on highway conditions is available through Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline.
