“The driver refused to stop and following a short pursuit, additional officers located the vehicle parked in a driveway in the 800 block of 3rd Street East,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“The driver then rammed a police vehicle, which had pulled in behind the truck, before attempting to flee on foot. No one was injured during the incident.”
The 23-year-old man who was allegedly behind the wheel was arrested, police said, along with two female passengers, ages 27 and 29.
Police said the truck was found to be stolen, and officers also found a loaded, sawed-off shotgun inside.
All three people who were inside the truck are facing charges including possession of stolen property, evading police, possession of methamphetamine and “firearm related charges.”
