A crash that slowed down traffic on Circle Drive on Tuesday morning was caused by a tire coming off a semi.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers got a report that a light pole had been knocked down, striking two vehicles at Circle Drive and 14th Street East just after 10:30 a.m.

“Arriving officers quickly secured the roadway and noted no injuries on scene,” the police service said in a statement.
“Further investigation determined a tire had come off of a semi and struck a light pole, ultimately knocking the pole onto two vehicles.”
Traffic was restricted along the route while the scene was cleared, but those restrictions were lifted just after 4 p.m.
