Things were looking a little better on Saskatchewan roads on Sunday afternoon, with the number of highways where travel was not recommended vastly reduced from Sunday morning, when travel was risky in many parts of the province.

In a 2:30 p.m. bulletin, Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline said the following highways were of note, listed by district:
WEYBURN
Moosomin: Travel not recommended designation removed, with roads partly covered, and loose and drifting snow.
Milestone: Travel was still not recommended at Hwy 339 (Junction Highway 334 to Junction Highway39) with reduced visibility, heavy snow, snow drifts and swirling snow.
YORKTON:
Melville: Travel not recommended designation removed from Highway15 (Junction Highway 16 to Junction Highway 9), Highway 22 (Junction Highway 9 to Junction Highway 47) but there was still reduced visibility, partly covered roads and loose and swirling snow.
SASKATOON:
Kenaston: Travel not recommended designation removed from Highway 11 (Davidson to Kenaston), Highway 15 (Kenaston to junction Highway 19), Highway 19 (Junction Highway 44 to Highway 15) but there was still reduced visibility, partly covered roads, snow drifts, swirling and drifting snow.
Wakaw: Travel not recommended designation removed but there was still reduced visibility, partly covered roads, snow drifts, swirling and drifting snow.
Lanigan: Travel not recommended designation removed from Highway 6 (Raymore to Leroy Access), Highway 20 (North Junction Highway 15 to Junction Highway 16) partly covered roads, and swirling and drifting snow.
NORTH BATTLEFORD:
Kerrobert: Travel not recommended designation removed but roads are covered with loose snow, snow drifts, and swirling and drifting snow.
PRINCE ALBERT WEST:
Prince Albert South: Travel not recommended designation removed from Highway 11 (MacDowall to Prince Albert) but roads remain partly covered with swirling and drifting snow.
