Police in Saskatoon seized drugs, cash and a wide assortment of weapons after executing search warrants at a home and a business.
According to police, officers searched a home on Avenue E South in the city’s Riversdale neighbourhood, along with a business on 22nd Street West, on Thursday as part of a drug investigation.

During the investigation, police said a total of 14 people were arrested and they now face 36 criminal charges related to drugs and weapons.
The Saskatoon Police Service said that during the investigation officers seized 216.9 grams of fentanyl, 56.5 grams of psilocybin (commonly known as magic mushrooms), and $2,313 in cash, as well as “other items consistent with drug trafficking.”
In addition to the drug-related seizures, police also seized a wide array of weapons, including brass knuckles, three Tasers, two sawed-off shotguns, a 9mm carbine, two handguns, ammunition, four cans of bear spray, an air-powered crossbow, two collapsible batons, and “numerous edged weapons.”
