One Alberta man broke into 17 different Tim Hortons in Alberta and Saskatchewan in a five-month span.
On Oct. 31, the RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit with help from the RCMP Regina General Investigation Section arrest the a 25-year-old man from Medicine Hat in connection with the break and enters.
Between June and October of 2024, the man broke into 12 Alberta locations and five in Saskatchewan, including Maple Creek, Kindersley, Swift Current, Saskatoon and Indian Head.
RCMP discovered the man was in White City where he arrested outside a hotel.
A search warrant was done on his hotel room, vehicle and apartment in Medicine Hat, which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash, tools and firearms.
The man has been charged with seven offences in Saskatchewan for break and enter to commit theft and possession of break in tools. 31 charges were laid in Alberta for break and enter to commit theft, possession of break in tools and unsafe storage of a firearm.
