A 27-year-old man is wanted by police in relation to a carjacking and shooting in the Prince Albert area that prompted an emergency alert last Thursday.
According to the RCMP, the incident happened on the morning of October 24 while a man was working by himself near White Star Road north of Prince Albert. Police said he was approached by multiple people wearing black bandanas or balaclavas. The group shot the victim, stole his 2020 Dodge Ram and his cell phone, and took off. The victim – who an online fundraiser identified as Orlan Peterson – was discovered by a passerby and police were alerted.

The incident prompted an emergency alert asking people in the area to remain in a secure location. A later update said the suspects ditched the Dodge and ran into the bush after crashing the stolen truck into a piece of heavy equipment near Thunder Rapids.
The following day, police said two suspects – a 33-year-old man from Prince Albert and an 18-year-old woman from La Ronge – were found and arrested in the Tobin Lake area. Both are now facing a list of charges including aggravated assault, robbery with a firearm, unlawfully causing bodily harm, and discharging a firearm with intent.
On Thursday, police said a warrant has been issued for the arrest of an additional suspect, 27-year-old Dallas Fulton, a resident of Prince Albert.
Police said Fulton is also facing a lengthy list of charges including robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault. The Mounties asked the public to report any information that could help officers locate him.
“If you see Dallas Fulton, do not approach him. He may be armed and is considered dangerous. If you see him, or know where he is, please report it to police immediately by calling 911 or 310-RCMP in non-emergencies,” the Saskatchewan RCMP said in a statement.
“Dallas is described as being approximately 120 pounds, 5’5” tall, with brown eyes and black hair. There is a tattoo of a sad face on his right hand a tattoo of a happy face on his left hand.”
Police said he may be in Prince Albert, Rosthern or Duck Lake, as he has connections to all three communities.
According to the online fundraiser set up to benefit the victim, Peterson’s life may never be the same after he was ordered into a trailer where he was shot and left for dead while his vehicle was stolen.
“It is unknown at this time how physically incapacitated he will be as a result of the life altering injury. Orlan’s mental health will no doubt need much healing from the fear he endured,” Brad Grolla wrote on the GoFundMe page.
“There will be more surgeries, rehab, physio, medical appointments etc. in his and his family’s future. It appears Orlan may never work again due to this cowardly random act of violence.”
