Tisdale RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle collision that happened around 3:55 p.m. on Monday.
650 CKOM confirmed Sask. Air Ambulance attended the scene of the crash.
The school bus was filled with children at the time of the crash.
A parent of two kids on the bus has confirmed it to be the “Kinistin High School bus” containing children aged 14 to 18. The parent estimated “more than 20 kids for sure all banged up.”

According to the Kinistin Saulteaux Nation website, Grade 9 to 12 students are transported by bus to attend school in Tisdale.
Carmen Messer, principal of Tisdale Middle & Secondary School (TMSS) said in an email the students attended their school and were “transported to various medical facilities to receive care.”
After the crash, the bus was upright in a ditch near the intersection of Township Road 424 and Range Road 2160, approximately 22 kilometers southwest of Tisdale, SK.
RCMP said in a news release the adult driver had non-life threatening injuries, but could not confirm the number or ages of the children, but said their families have been notified.
“Some children are being treated for various injuries – we do not have specific details about their injuries or how many children require hospital treatment at this time.”
In an update issued on Tuesday morning, the RCMP said the route is now open. While police did not have any further details to share on the crash, the Mounties said officers are working to gather more information for a later update.
