Saskatoon police have arrested a 41-year-old man wanted in connection to an aggravated assault and sexual assault case.
According to police, the investigation began early Friday morning on Coppermine Crescent in the city’s River Heights neighbourhood.

“Police are actively searching for 41-year old Matthew Thomas Scoville as a person of interest in this investigation,” the police service said in a statement on Friday.
“Scoville is described as being of Southeast Asian descent, bald, approximately 5’9” and 167lbs, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black and white plaid jacket, black shoes, and dark grey sweat pants.”
Anyone who sees Scoville should not approach him, police said, and should call police immediately.
There will be a “significant police presence” in the city’s northern and western neighbourhoods as officers continue the investigation, the police service added.
