Emergency services in Moose Jaw responded to a call of a house fire on the 400 block of Fairford St E at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
Police say that the occupants were not home at the time the fire broke out, and there were no injuries reported.
Due to the impact on nearby powerlines, the power was shut off for the surrounding area while firefighters fought the blaze. According to SaskPower, power was restored by 11:48 p.m.
A cause has not yet been determined, and it is estimated that $200,000 of damage was done to the house.
