Police are looking into two separate shootings that happened on Wednesday in Saskatoon.
But the investigations were made more difficult because police said both victims refused to co-operate with the investigating officers.
In the first incident, police said officers were called to the City Hospital after a man arrived there with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
“The 41-year-old male victim was unwilling to provide officers with any information to continue an investigation,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement. “He was treated for his injury in hospital.”

Just before midnight that same evening, police responded to a report of another gunshot victim in the 100 block of Avenue V South.
“Again, the 24-year-old victim would not provide a statement to officers; however, officers believe the suspect and victim were known to one another,” the police service noted.
“He was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services West for treatment of his injury.”
Both shootings are under investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit, and police asked anyone with information on either shooting to contact police or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.
