Two Saskatchewan men are facing charges and recovering from gunshot wounds after an alleged home invasion last week in Lloydminster, Alta.
According to the Alberta RCMP, police were called to a home in the Border City last Tuesday, just after 7 a.m.
The RCMP said nine people were involved in the break-in. When officers arrived at the scene they found two of the suspects suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
Despite their alleged role in the home invasion, police said the wounded men have not yet been arrested “as their medical status has not allowed for it.”
