Saskatoon Police are searching for a suspect after a 75-year-old woman was robbed at knife point near a Holiday Park campground.
Police said the incident happened on Wednesday afternoon when a woman on a bike approached the senior’s camper at the Gordon Howe Campground.
Police said the senior opened the door and was held at knifepoint, and was forced to load some of her belongings from the camper into her own truck. The suspect then allegedly stole the keys and drove off with the truck.
The senior went to the next site for help, and they called 911.
The next day, the stolen truck was located heavily damaged in a parking lot near Gabriel Dumont Park.
Police are still searching for the suspect and she is described as five-foot-two with a slim build and red or auburn hair that was tied in a ponytail.
She was wearing black sweats with a white and blue/grey stripe down the side, a black jacket with a hood, and a black Puma backpack at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call Saskatoon Police.
