A Saskatoon man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed by a group of men early Friday morning.
According to police, the 36-year-old victim was walking in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue K South, in the city’s Riversdale neighbourhood, at around 2:40 a.m. when a group of men riding bicycles approached him and stabbed him.

The victim was taken to hospital by paramedics, though his injury wasn’t believed to be life threatening.
“The suspects and victim are not believed to be known to one another,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement. “Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.”
