Several southern Saskatchewan communities are without phone and Internet service due to a SaskTel outage.
According to SaskTel, the outage – which includes Internet, wireless and landline service – is affecting customers in and around Avonlea, Gray, Lang, Milestone, Rouleau and Wilcox.
“SaskTel technicians have been dispatched to resolve the outage, however there is no estimated time of repair,” the Crown corporation said in a statement.

Access to 911 may not be available, SaskTel noted, meaning people would need to report emergencies in person.
“In the event of an emergency residents in and around the affected communities will need to physically contact their nearest emergency services for assistance,” the company explained.
SaskTel apologized for the inconvenience, and thanked those in the affected areas for their patience.
