Police say a 30-year-old woman was stabbed several times by a group of strangers in a Saskatoon park early on Thursday morning.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Wardlow Road, in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood, at around 1:40 a.m.
There, police said officers found the injured victim. While she had been stabbed multiple times, police said her wounds weren’t considered life threatening.
“Continued investigation found that the victim was walking with another person through the park when they were approached a group of persons believed to be unknown to them,” police explained in a statement.
