Police in Saskatoon knocked down a door to help an injured woman during a domestic disturbance call on Sunday.
According to police, officers were dispatched to a home on Baltzan Boulevard just before midnight on Sunday. When they arrived, police spotted an injured woman on a balcony.
“Following several unsuccessful attempts to gain entry into the residence, police breached the door,” police said in a statement.

“Once inside, officers observed signs consistent with a struggle and found a male suspect attempting to hide from police.”
The 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault, along with breaching court-ordered conditions.
The woman was taken to hospital, and police said her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
