Two burst sprinkler lines at Saskatoon’s St. Paul’s Hospital have caused flooding, but no disruptions to patient care areas.
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the flooding is in the hospital’s basement and main entrance area, but won’t have any impact on patient care areas, visitor access, emergency department access, or the hospital’s supply of drinking water.

The health authority said maintenance workers are fixing the broken lines and cleaning the flooded areas.
“Navigation through the facility may be impacted as SHA maintenance staff work to remediate affected areas,” the health authority said in a statement.
